Hysteresis Shaper
Overview
Final v1.2.1 release: the v1.2.0-beta multiband redesign is now the current stable package, with lower CPU in mono/unlinked routing and a cleaner lane UI.
Fixes
Fixed* Output mono/stereo display now follows output-side signal analysis, avoiding incorrect mode decisions from input-side side-channel energy. * Mono outputs now explicitly report silent output side energy for the UI. * GCC/Linux test build compatibility: taper tests now use the portable std::pow overload instead of std::powf.
What's new
* Lane panels now use the StudioHum-style metal inset behind each lane's chart and controls, making each lane read as a more integrated surface.
Performance
* Mono-host processing and unlinked L/R or Mid/Side lanes now use a single-lane DSP path when only one meaningful channel is being processed. The right-channel hysteresis solve is skipped for those lanes while the left-channel result remains equivalent to the previous stereo path. * This reduces per-lane CPU in unlinked and Mid/Side workflows.
Notes
* Existing presets, projects, licenses, and activations remain compatible.
