Does it work on Mac?
No. Windows 10/11 64-bit and Linux x64 only. We know, we know.
Do I need an account?
No. You can download StudioHum and use it without creating an account. If you buy a license, we'll email you a license key. You can optionally use a magic link to view your purchases and downloads, but it's not required.
Do you collect any data or analytics?
Zero. No telemetry, no analytics, no crash reports phoning home, no tracking. The plugin doesn't even know the internet exists. What happens in your DAW stays in your DAW.
Who makes MousePlugins?
One person: Stéphane Berger, based in Spain. Solo indie dev. There's no team, no marketing department, no support tier — just someone who likes DSP and wants to make useful tools.
What plugin formats do you support?
VST3 and CLAP. CLAP is the newer open format with better DAW integration in hosts that support it (Bitwig, Reaper). VST3 covers everything else.
Do I need an iLok or any dongle?
No iLok, no dongle, no USB stick, no hardware required. The license is a key. That's it.
How do I pay?
Stripe checkout — card, Apple Pay, Google Pay, and whatever else Stripe supports in your region. You accept the terms during checkout, get a receipt, get your license. Standard stuff.
How do I get support?
Email support@mouseplugins.com. It's a solo operation so responses might not be instant, but they will come.
Are you planning more plugins?
Yes. StudioHum is the first. More are in the works — but no ETAs, no roadmap theater. They'll ship when they're done and not a moment before.
