## 2.0.2

Mastino 60 v2.0.2 is a feature release. It adds per-band CLIP and clickable, plain-language help across the compression chart, makes the editor resize proportionally, gives the Gain Reduction Intelligence and Global panels more room, and fixes a handful of behaviour, stability, and gain-staging issues from the 2.0.x cycle.

Existing projects, presets, licenses, and activations remain compatible. Every new control defaults to its previous behaviour, so a v2.0.1 session sounds identical until you reach for the new features.

### Per-band CLIP (Clean / Soft / Hard)

Each active band now has its own CLIP selector, in the band's top-right corner next to the Mute / Solo controls. Clean (the default) leaves the band untouched. Soft is a smooth ceiling that rounds peaks into 0 dBFS for density without an obvious edge. Hard is a firm clip at 0 dBFS for weight and deliberate drive.

CLIP sits on each band's processed signal, after its compression and makeup gain and before the bands recombine, and it is driven by the band's own level, so a band that never reaches the ceiling is never touched. There is no hidden clipping: Clean means clean, a muted or zero-mix band is not clipped, and bypass is never clipped. Factory presets still open Clean.

### Clickable help across the chart

Contextual help (press F1, then click anything) now covers the compression chart in detail. The input RMS meters, the gain-reduction meters, the transfer-curve knee, the level axis, and each band region now each have their own plain-language definition, alongside the crossovers, per-band mix, Mute / Solo, and CLIP that were already covered.

### A proportional editor

The editor now keeps its aspect ratio while you drag a border or corner, so the layout stays in proportion instead of stretching. Maximizing is the exception and fills the screen as you would expect, and the window opens at the correct proportion.

### A roomier layout

The Gain Reduction Intelligence and Global panels are each a little wider - so the Profile selector and Auto control sit clear of the GR Intelligence title, and the SC filter has room in the Global panel - with the editor widened to suit, so the Compression Controls and every knob are unchanged. The header bar now also sits flush to the top of the window.

### Fixed

Preset and program changes are now rock-solid. In some hosts, loading a preset or switching the plugin's program could, in uncommon cases, cause the plugin to crash. Preset and program changes are now processed safely across all hosts, and the saved state is restored exactly.

Linking and unlinking the stereo lanes is now completely predictable. Linked operation always runs as one Stereo (left/right) context, even if M/S was selected before linking - and turning LINK on now switches the routing selector to Stereo to match. Per-band MUTE and SOLO switch off automatically whenever the link changes, so a forgotten audition setting can never come back by surprise, while per-band CLIP carries over from the linked setting. Automatic gain-riding state also hands over cleanly on both transitions, so unlinking never jumps back to an old level, and the lane meters always show the same routing the audio is actually using.

Gain Reduction Intelligence Auto no longer drifts. When Auto was engaged, a band that was not part of the active crossover setup - for example the Low or High band while running a single full-range band - had no gain reduction to measure, so its automatic threshold kept lowering itself and sank to the bottom. Auto now leaves any unused band alone and only tracks bands that are actually working.

Output gain and Auto Gain no longer fight. The manual Input and Output knobs are now clearly shown as inactive (greyed out) whenever their matching Auto Gain is engaged, and become live again the moment you switch Auto Gain off. With Auto Gain off, the Output knob works exactly as expected, all the way through and past 0 dB.

The EULA link in the menu now opens the correct page.

### Compatibility

Existing projects, presets, licenses, and activations remain compatible. All new controls default to their neutral state (CLIP = Clean everywhere; Auto Gain and Gain Reduction Intelligence Auto off), so a project that does not use them is completely unaffected. The compression character, calibration, and every existing parameter are identical to v2.0.1.
